Tools are the way your character has to interact with the world in Crystal Realms

Most tools follow a progression determined by the material they're made of.

Hand

Wrench

Wooden Tools:

The easiest to get in the bunch, they are crafted with wooden planks. Wooden tools are quite slow and have a limited range. The drop chance for items mined is quite low.

Stone Tools:

They are crafted with stone blocks and wooden planks. The only difference between them and the wooden tools is their mining speed, damage and reach.

Golden Tools:

They are crafted with gold ingots and wooden planks. Best tools if you want to farm Crystal Shards because they get extra shards in return for their low item drop chance, slow mining speed and lower than iron tools reach.

Iron Tools:

They are crafted with iron ingots and wooden planks. They have higher mining speed, damage, reach than golden tools and they have higher chance of dropping items but don't give extra Crystal Shards.

Diamond Tools:

They are crafted with Diamonds and wooden planks. They have the fastest mining speed, damage of all tools and the highest item drop chance. They also have higher reach that other tools.

Trivia

The diamond tools are the best tools currently in the game but you might want to use golden tools for farming since they give extra Crystal Shards
